I currently work on the Symphony project. I have done the following tasks:• Updated and maintained the code, including GUI, backend and interfaces to external sources.• Updated and maintained server configuration of our system.• Take part in code review process.• I am part of the on-call rotation team, where I assist and resolve issues customers encounter while using our products.• I have been part of the deployment team to deploy code changes to the customers.

I'm part of the Bug Fixing team, where we are given defects that have been discovered by the Systems/Test team. After I fix a defect we go through a code review process with the Application Creators via Code Collaborator. Once we get an approval there we close out the defect as fixed.I've led a small team throughout the Software Design Documentation team for a specific subsystem in the VCS 21 project, which is a Voice Communication System for the FAA and for the NATS (UK) project.I've created VBA scripts to help automate the Software Design Documents which helped save time as these documents were hundreds of pages long.I've helped allocate requirements to specific Components and CSCI's.

I've worked on several projects using different computer languages.I have used JAVA in developing code to interface with a COTS product using the COTS API calls.I have done some development in Visual Studios C++ for making a GUI interface for the operator to monitor and view data logged information from the hardware equipment.I have also created another Visual C++ application using the .NET framework to have a user interface monitoring machinery data. It was capable of creating data logs, printing logs, and other tasks. A couple of techniques I had to use in order to complete the application was using some basic Threading techniques and importing DLLs and unmangle the imported DLL function names to make function calls to legacy program APIs.I have also built C# applications to make massive updates into the SQL Server Database. Thus saving a lot of time. Instead of someone making manual entries for thousands of items, my C# application was able to do that in a matter of seconds by connecting to a SQL Server Database and write SQL queries to finish the required task.I have also created MACROS using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in Microsoft Word Documents to auto generate documents that would eventually be several hundred pages long. The purpose of this MACRO is again to help save time in what would be an otherwise extensive task. This was done by also connecting to a Microsoft Access Database and a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (both with thousands of data items in each) to do the necessary function calls to auto populate the document.I have created applications to interface to a Video Multiplexer which allows the user to select any source input to be displayed on any display output.I have created code that interfaces to a IO Board that reads in Discrete Inputs and writes Discrete Outputs using bit manipulation to extract/write the correct data.I have also assisted in creating applications to talk over the 1553 Serial protocol.
