Responsibilities included managing all aspects of the software/product development process for two products including project management of software development (waterfall & agile/scrum), customer service/support, business development, recruitment/staff development, product development (including UI/UX) and beta testing.Project managed the marketing and PR/communications of the product including creating and implementing a strategic marketing and communications plan that delivered key messaging to specific market segments, manage marketing budget, create all marketing and communications collateral (print, broadcast, online) in line with defined style guides, management of trade shows and events, management of agencies & partnerships and liaising with KOL’s, stakeholders and consultants.

Responsibilities included managing all aspects of product management and consumer marketing in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with the range consisting of gaming headsets, gaming controllers, iPad/iPhone/iPod accessories, Android tablet & mobile phone accessories and other assorted products. I achieved portfolio performance targets including inventory control, marketing (trade/consumer) and public relations planning & implementation, budget control (including P&L), external agency management, new product launches, trade & consumer shows, POS/marketing materials design and production, packaging, product positioning, promotions, marketing & sales reporting and product life-cycle management. Brands under management include Turtle Beach, PDP, Marvel, Afterglow and Disney.

Responsibilities included managing all aspects of the Papermint Studio business operations including operations, sales & marketing strategies, staff management (eight employees), purchasing, product research and development, website development and administration. Liaising with company directors and briefing them on business activities including sales performance and forecasts, marketing strategies and emerging business opportunities. Devising and implementing B2B/B2C marketing strategies, and reporting on marketing program reviews to the directors. Managing the company presence at national trade shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and attending trade shows in Berlin, Hong Kong and New York to source new products and business opportunities.

Responsibilities included managing the public relations, publicity and promotional activities for the entire range of Atari and third-party interactive entertainment titles and application software. Managing all forms of consumer, trade and corporate communications, activities and events for the Australia and Asia-Pacific region. Leading a local team of five and three international direct reports, my objective was to re-energise the Atari brand in the mind our target demographic, making it a leading interactive entertainment brand and raise the profile of the Asia-Pacific region within the company globally and at major international events and trade shows such as E3 and the Tokyo Game Show. I was also responsible for liaising with theatrical companies for cross-licensed products and co-partnered launches for The Matrix, Transformers and Tomb Raider.
