Project Manager who is responsible for the development of key client based initiatives in the areas of client engagement, ongoing database maintenance and reporting, FDS and Opt in, compliance, paraplanning and technical expertise. Major Projects:• Restructuring the advice process to streamline the generation of strategies and advice documents• Development and implementation of a new pipeline sales tracking process.• Implementation of the FDS and Opt in processes.• Multiple process improvements in the client review stage, paraplanning and client services teams.• Multiple compliance process improvements including note templates, advice templates and policy manual additions. • Chair of the AFPG Investment Committee.

This role consisted of the day to day management of the Paraplanning team for AFPG. The team is based in 3 locations (Sydney, Melbourne and Manila) and consisted of up to 10 direct reports. The main responsibilities of the paraplanning team is to generate strategies for the advising team, develop those strategies into advice documents and oversee quality control of the advice documents. The other function of the role was to increase compliance awareness and develop and monitor mechanisms to ensure the advice that is developed is consistent with the current legislative requirements, appropriate for each client and delivers sales outcomes for the business.Major Projects include:• Successfully building, training and developing a Manila based office. • Redesigning the advice process at AFPG. • Building a goals-based advice model at AFPG. • Building a new SOA Wizard and output document.• Building, developing and improving the Paraplanning Thread in XPlan. • Assisting a Project team for 2 business acquisitions. • Creating an Insurance Needs Analysis methodology for AFPG.• Chair of the AFPG Investment Committee.

This was a temporary role heading up the Client Services and Implementation (CSI) team at AFPG. This role was done in conjunction with the Head of Paraplanning role. During my short stay I reviewed several key processes and improved productivity within the team. Core Responsibilities:• Day to day management of the CSI team.• Lodgment File allocation.• SOA Printing allocation.• Training of CSI team, in particular the team member that was being considered for the role of managing the team full time.
