Presently, I am actively engaged in providing expertise as client representative and leading five-member team of construction managers as well as highly skilled commissioning teams to oversee all aspects of construction and commissioning of eight facilities across North America. As a Control Systems Design Lead, I provided technical leadership to identify solutions, and guide team through concept, implementation, and verification stages for unit 33 expansion Project and unit 38 reactor run length. I effectively drove controls systems effort as design lead for multiple projects for Flint Hills Resources. I systematically scheduled and tracked work hours as well as oversaw control systems design construction package.One of my notable achievements for this tenure is as follows:• Strategized and completed engineering and design ahead of schedule and within initially approved budget.

I actively supported DCS upgrade project for Chevron Phillips Chemical by tactfully managing subcontractor during installation and cutover of new Foxboro I/A system and field instrumentation, wiring, cable tray, lighting, 120v and 480v power systems for 4000 I/O Ethylene unit cutover hot from existing system to new DCS located in new Control Room.My notable contribution for the tenure is given below:• Received Joseph J. Jacobs “Master Builder” award for completing project without incurring any safety incidents, including recordable or lost time injuries while meeting schedule and budget.

While working as the Control Systems Lead, I facilitated Chevron Phillips Chemical with managing DCS upgrade project by leading controls systems and electrical engineering and designing to upgrade existing 14 heater Ethylene unit from existing Foxboro Spec 200 system in existing control room to new Foxboro I/A system, field instrumentation, wiring, cable tray, lighting, 120v and 480v power systems in new Control Room.Below is one of my notable contributions for this tenure:• Completed engineering and design ahead of schedule and developed construction work package procedure to facilitate multi-stage construction project.

I led Nova BEAM project for NOVA Chemicals and delivered construction management expertise during Phase-5 construction. I accurately defined construction schedule and methodically managed work progress during pre-turnaround and turnaround. I also conducted robust quality control inspections as well as supervised installation of new UPS, power/control wiring, raceway systems, lighting, and loop check coordination.Following is one of my contributions for this tenure:• Requested by Client to oversee and manage site construction I&E contractor.

I tactfully steered Nova BEAM Project for NOVA Chemicals as lead control systems designer for phase-4 of project. I effectively enforced control over all design activities in Houston and Mumbai offices. I actively coordinated development of loops generated through INtools, created location plans from PDS, and prepared wiring diagrams with AutoCAD by Mumbai office. I also guided in-house design team to develop installation details, PDS dimensional data, loop templates, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD. I engineered and designed ABB DCS system and Triconex Safety system. I also coordinated with engineering, other discipline leads, and client to build comprehensive construction package while adhering to client/industry standards.My contribution for this tenure is as follows:• Developed successful work process to utilize (HVEO) high value engineering office in Mumbai for 60% of engineering.

I designed and implemented programs specific to customer/project requirements. I systematically developed controls architecture and code for new system development. I specified, tested, and managed qualify control of hardware components in conjunction with systems/electrical design. I actively engaged with internal/external teams to observe devices/processes in operation, locate root causes, and develop solutions. I also delivered reports reflecting current and desired states as well as recommendations.Some of my notable accomplishments are given below:• Headed metallurgical upgrade project for CITGO and prepared loop/wiring diagrams, location plans, and installation details using AutoCAD. Maintained close project follow-up and aided with construction management while providing design/engineering support.• Supervised multiple projects for Marathon Ashland Petroleum and crafted ±10% estimate package as well as acquired budgetary pricing for all instrumentation.
