Originally from Auckland, I relocated to Christchurch in 2015, immersing myself in pivotal projects during the city's rebuild. This journey has been a profound learning experience, providing insights into the intricacies of the construction industry.Commencing my career as a junior technician at an HVAC commissioning firm, I quickly progressed to overseeing my own projects, fostering a surge in confidence. My diverse portfolio spans remarkable undertakings, including intricate HVAC designs for NZ Navy Frigates (Te Mana & Te Kaha) and a six-month stint at the new US Embassy in Suva, Fiji.Throughout my tenure in the HVAC Commissioning industry, I've navigated diverse sectors such as healthcare, prisons, hotels, district courts, shopping malls, schools, museums, food production, laboratories, high-rise towers, stadiums, and retail fit-outs.In 2015, I achieved Commissioning Specialist Association certificates for Parts B, C, and Grade 3 ACSA, completing a specialised course in Sussex, United Kingdom. Remaining an active member of the CSA association, I also hold registrations as an Independent Qualified Person (IQP) for Hastings, Palmerston North, Wellington, and the South Island, specialising in systems like escape route pressurisation, mechanical ventilation & air conditioning systems, laboratory fume cupboards, and smoke control systems.Recently, I expanded my expertise by achieving CSA CxM certification, further enhancing my capabilities in overseeing comprehensive commissioning processes.Currently serving as the Director of AirRated Ltd in Christchurch, our business has thrived since its establishment in 2020.
