The data contained in this layer is used to create business specific data views and to build the Business Objects Universes upon.Canon had the need for sales related data for Sales Planning purposes. As we had the data already sourced, I worked to identify data mappings and transformation rules, which established the ETL process to extract the needed data and drop the results into a Google Bucket for the Sales Planning team to pickup. Depending on the data, the team established daily and near real time loads to continuously to provide updated data.
