With over a 20 years of experience coaching youth and high school soccer, specializing in the training and coaching of female athletes, Chris Eftychiou bring a plethora of experience to Rebel 76 Soccer. From a management perspective, Chris has gained skills working as the Executive Director of Coaching for the Vikings Futbol Club, the local community travel club that "feeds" the Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest. One thing lacking in youth soccer is a culture of individualized attention. Training sessions are run thousands of times per week around the country, yet few are differentiated to the individual levels of players. Much of this is not the fault of the trainer, as they get one or two sessions per week with their teams, many of which are heterogeneously grouped, regardless of tryout performance. The spectrum of ability on teams can range dramatically, so just as many teachers in American classrooms must do, they must coach to the middle. This hurts the players at the lower end of the spectrum and holds back those players that need a more competitive, fast-paced environment. That is where Rebel 76 Soccer comes in. We vet quality trainers, whose personalities engage players, and coaching is directed at the individual. Private and semi-private training run under the R76 umbrella differentiates and compliments the overall soccer player experience.When Coach Eftychiou is not teacher special education students, working on various Vikings Futbol Club tasks, training Vikings teams and Rebel 76 clinic groups, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his own kids play soccer.
