First and foremost, I am a loving husband and father! Everything I do in life is to love, honor, and support my amazing wife and family! At work, I have more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry with over 13 years specifically in Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H). Currently, with for Strata-G for over 9 years, I and am subcontracted as an ES&H Representative to United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR) Deactivation & Demolition projects, under contract with DOE. I implement skills related to administering health and safety programs, conducting work site surveillances, ensuring employee & subcontractor compliance, implementing behavior-based safety peer coaching, and reviewing field operations for safety improvements.As an ES&H Representative, I use my past heavy equipment operating experience and supervisory roles to ensure that project personnel comply with OSHA laws, ANSI standards, DOE regulations, as well as company procedures and guidelines. I implement safety programs for the control of occupational hazards associated with fall prevention & protection, radioactive materials, PCB’s, heavy metal exposures, lockout / tag out, high pressure systems (air and hydraulic), trenching safety, high noise environments, critical & heavy lifts, heavy equipment operations, and the physical hazards with building demolition and construction activities, including hazardous weather conditions.
