I’m a Senior Lecturer (SFHEA) in Sports Development and Coaching at the University of South Wales, delivering across levels 4 to 7. I'm the Course Leader for the FdSc/BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching and Development (in partnership with the English Football League Trust). Through experience of delivering education in a range of modes and settings, I’m committed and passionate about developing quality, interactive materials, through being innovative with new pedagogies. My research interests are community sport, employability, and teaching and learning.I bring a range of applied experiences to my work including grass roots and children and youth coaching, school sport and teaching, sport development work at local, regional and national level, plus leadership and governance of national sports organisations. Alongside my role at USW, I'm active within the industry having roles at the European Association of Sport Management (EASM), the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), and the Welsh Judo Association.
