Manage all legal work incident to Petillo’s work and the personal holdings of Petillo’s Principal, including drafting and negotiating various forms of construction contracts, supply/distribution agreements, real estate sale agreements, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, etc. Manage all aspects of specialty and outside counsel with respect to litigation, arbitration, transactions and claims. Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to private construction, including State and Federal Department of Labor guidelines and various Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Manage all legal work incident to Pravco’s work and the personal holdings of Pravco’s Principal, including drafting and negotiating various forms of construction contracts, supply/distribution agreements, real estate sale agreements, right of first refusal agreements with international luxury car manufacturers, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, etc. Conduct litigation as lead counsel on Pravco’s behalf and manage all aspects of specialty and outside counsel with respect to litigation, arbitration and claims, including case strategy. Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to private construction, including State and Federal Department of Labor guidelines and various Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Manage all aspects of legal and compliance functions for a web of corporations relating to the bonding, insurance, and construction industries. Draft and negotiate various agreements directly relating to the organizations and its clientele, including various forms of construction contracts, supply/distribution agreements, bonds, producer agreements, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, etc. Manage all aspects of litigation, arbitration and claims, including case strategy, pleadings, preparation, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations. Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to insurance/surety agents, claims people and managing general administrators. Develop Employee Handbook and consulted on human resource issues.

Drafted and negotiated contracts on behalf of developers engaging in projects from New York to California, ranging in size from $2 million to $50 million and utilizing various project delivery systems; drafted and negotiated professional services contracts; participated in all aspects of litigation from initial claim investigation to trying a case as first-chair counsel; participated in all aspects of the public bidding process, from advising clients preparing solicitations, to contesting governmental agency awards on behalf of contractors; provided counseling services and drafted and negotiated contractual amendments to address issues arising on projects.
