We need a common code of ethics to promote fairness and to eliminateschool board secrecy which erodes public confidence.Decision-making, procedures, practices and policies hinge on an unambiguously clear code of ethics.As chairman of the LBPSB:I realize the future welfare of the community depends in large measure upon thequality of education we provide in the public schools.I will encourage any initiatives and projects undertaken by citizens that are specifically designed towardthe well-being of students. It will hurt worse if someonehas to dig out the facts because you have not been honest.
