About Chris Evans
Please! I am honoured that people endorse me here and invite connection. However, I don't do LinkedIn endorsements nor pay for its premium account and I pretty much never accept a "link to me" invite unless I'm 100% sure I know the person. I'm very sorry if my not endorsing seems rude but I'm sceptical about the process and LinkedIn's provision of it. MORE importantly sometimes I get connect invitations from people I'm sure I'd love to know much better but basic LinkedIn gives me no way to respond to them, so, if I don't link to you, search around and you'll find Email addresses for me and introduce yourself that way. At least then I can try to do you the respect of saying why I won't link in the unlikely event that that's what I decide. Oh, I also get overloaded with Email so be prepared to re-send a couple of times before giving me up: sorry!As of August 2016 I am no longer working clinically. I was a "consultant psychiatrist in psychotherapy" with trainings in individual and family/systemic therapy. I held a personal chair in the University of Nottingham though my funding is from the NHS and I'm not as much connected to the University as I would love to be in a perfect world in which there were more days in the week. As I stopped working clinically in Nottingham in late 2013 my honorary chair terminated at the end of July 2016. All change!
