Managing a team of IT Project Managers who perform all aspects of project management including the definition of project charters, project planning, project scoping, and project delivery. Our team also provides project leadership and mentoring to IT staff and the project team. Responsibilities include working multiple projects simultaneously. We facilitate and participate in technical / business discussions and requirements gathering sessions, provide project estimates, and manage project risks. The team is responsible for all stages and types of IT initiatives for the Firm from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation. We provide a proactive interface between the internal customers and the technical/programming staff to ensure effective definition and delivery of IT infrastructure and business applications. We work to build solid relationships and streamline project meetings and communication. We guide and execute decisions from design up to project governance. We set a tone for level-headed and expedited project crisis management. Strategic planning for IT projects for the firm globally. This includes annual budget estimates and project priorities based on business needs analysis.

Since 2010, I have also been managing a staff of software developers as direct reports. On any given project, I manage a team of developers. We design, build, and maintain applications in the following business areas: Legal Recruiting; Attorney Resource and Talent Management; HRIS, including Workday; Elite; Business Development, including the firm's public web site; Pro Bono tracking and reporting; Knowledge Mangement; Dodd-Frank regulatory tracking; identity management for iManage; and, Managing Attorney's Office.
