I have always desired to get a job in the Aviation industry. My father is an Aircraft Mechanic and instilled a deep interest in aviation from a young age. Ever since my Dad put me in the back of his Self-restored 1941 Porterfield Collegiate I've always stuck around the community, going to events, building model planes, watching flight paths. I can still remember the first time he let me bank an aircraft for the first time and the feeling of that slowly descending coordinated turn, my first landing, and the feel of wheels lifting off a rough runway into clean air.I had hoped to fund my way into the industry through driving Semi's. It allowed me to see the country at the very least and gave me a sense of scope that I had lacked before. Few can say they've driven as many miles as I have and have been to the 48 states of this country, it would be 50 but Semi trucks have a hard time traveling across oceans. Though as the months turned into years the yearning to get flying again or just be around aircraft. I left that company to go local but I couldn't keep going around with my wheels on the ground.That's why I signed up For Phoenix East Aviation's Aircraft Dispatching course. With a career that is a bit more stationary I'm hoping to get back up and start building hours again while doing a job I'm passionate in
