Driving service through coaching & mentoring, on the shop floor at at 1-1• Identifying areas to improve customer service and liaising with Trading Managers to implement improvements• Supporting team with information and Airport critical knowledge.• Assesses individual customer requirements and responding to them, actively ensuring needs are met. Managing customer queries or complaints promptly and effectively• Demonstrating a good product and promotions knowledge, Building contacts & relationships with suppliers and organising sales & promotions activity

Key Responsibilities:Assisting in the day-to-day running of a busy airside store ensuring all targets are achievedMotivating, supporting and encouraging team to ensure they achieve store and individual Average Transaction (ATV) and Units per transaction (UPT) goals, providing regular feedback, training and incentives to maximise store salesLeading by example to ensure a consistently high level of customer service, ensuring any customer queries and complaints are managed professionallyMerchandising store commercially to company guidelines utilising all commercial reportsCompleting daily, weekly and monthly cash and stock administration and paperworkOrganising and completing stock takesCompleting regular staff appraisals and reviewsEnsuring effective handovers and communication with management team and staffCompleting daily store ‘walk around’ to identify ways to improve salesLaunching all promotions effectivelyEnsuring deliveries are processed efficiently and store is replenished at all timesStaff rota planningStaff training and developmentAdhering to all company and airport security and health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring all staff comply to any new legislationsReporting and analysing store figures
