I initially joined this role over the enrolment period of 2017, and was asked to return for the two subsequent years. As the new academic year begins new and returning students of a variety of ages and pathways require enrolling onto their courses. At BCOT I was part of a team that welcomed students into the college, conversing with them to aid the process of starting their course. Careers advice and welfare were available in addition to processing students details into the system to complete enrolment.

In this role my duty was to ensure children were safeguarded well cared for and that the variety of activities I organised were risk assessed, engaging physically, mentally and socially suited to many levels of competence. In working closely with a strong team, I developed communication skills, ability to work cooperatively and also the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and initiative. Key achievements include being awarded best new team member of the summer.
