Chris has just taken on a new role as Chief Client Officer at Laser Digital! Laser Digital are redefining the frontier of digital finance.Chris joined Nomura in 2010 as Global Head of Macro Sales. Within Europe, Chris was responsible for the EMEA region Global Markets sales force. He was also a member of the Global Markets Sales Executive Committee, which defines and implements the optimal global strategy to grow Nomura's overall client franchise with its well defined and targeted client base.Chris joined Nomura in 2010 from RBS where he spent 5 years and was European Head of Interest Rate Sales, Co-European Head of Flow Credit Sales and European Head of Futures & FX sales. During his tenure, RBS's institutional client franchise in Rates grew from being small and UK focused to market leading and pan-European. The Rates sales force more than doubled in size while revenues increased more than ten-fold. The close collaborative approach of growing sales with banking, research and trading partners resulted in a significant client franchise in all major European geographies as well as central banks and hedge funds globally.Prior to this, Chris worked at UBS as Head of all Liquid Product Sales, Government and Flow Derivatives for Europe.
