At the core of the mPort offering is the mPod, an accessible and convenient solution designed to empower consumers on their health journey by providing a highly accurate digital body avatar that can be tracked over time.Responsibilities:Manufacturing-Oversee the design and development of the mPod-Develop designs to ensure they were manufacturable, cost effective and scalable-Product redesigns and improvements for manufacturing at scale - lead to cutting production costs by 60% and shortening lead times, with further reduction on opex through design for serviceability-Source and liaise with manufacturers both in Australia and overseas-Develop production lines for the mPod with partnered manufacturers-Oversee production teams and QMS implementation-Develop and support a parts and logistics management system-Arrange and oversee freighting and logisticsOperations-Develop strategies and oversee operations for a fleet of mPods located across Australia and LA-Manage a team of operational staff and remotely working subcontractors -Manage relationships with key partners-Setup operations including staffing, facilities and equipment in LA-Accountable for budget planning and cost function analysis Show less
