I quickly established myself as a top performer within the business, regularly finishing within the 'Top 5' on the company annual sales league. As expected at this level of retail, I was also responsible for the day to day running of the store in the absence of the senior management team and would have full accountability for the performance of the store on those given days - a responsibility that I thoroughly enjoyed.I was proud to have been included in the initial integration team responsible for bringing a CRM system (Hubspot) into the business over the last 2 years which has fundamentally changed the way in which the business operates at branch level with a view to clientelling. Although I already had a strong client book, this changed the ease of communication with clients which is paramount in retail today - to provide a very personal service that others can't or don't.I was often included in the Induction and Further Development training courses with new recruits to the business, to share best practise and help integrate them into the business using my experience to try and help them relate to where we were aiming the business and service levels. As I began my employment with the business it was here that I undertook my induction to the trade. My main duties naturally included looking after clients on a daily basis and ensuring I worked towards to my targets (KPI's).My initial 2 week induction gave me a great insight into the trade to the equivalent standard really as the JET 1 course as it was then called.
