After building the Global Sourcing function at Viacom Inc., I was asked to lead the combined Global Sourcing and Procurement function for the newly merged ViacomCBS Corporation (later named Paramount Group.) I led the delivery on all non-labor synergy savings related to the merger of Viacom and CBS. My team and I delivered over 3X the original synergy target and successfully integrated two Sourcing and Procurement teams into one high performing global organization.

Built and led the Strategic Sourcing function for a global entertainment company. Was responsible for all Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement operations and transformed the organization into a cohesive global function. Established the Sourcing function as a credible business partner to senior leaders, by building functional capability with a focus on ensuring on-going delivery of world class, sustainable results. Led the development and execution of effective sourcing strategies across varied and complex categories and stakeholder groups. Developed and institutionalizes global core sourcing and procurement processes including strategic and annual planning, standardized global metrics and reporting processes, adoption of electronic P2P and e-tools, succession planning and talent development. First year results included a doubling of the teams delivered cost savings, a 2x increase in the reported spending rate with diverse suppliers, the design and implementation of a new global operating model for the Sourcing function, and significantly increased team capability through strategic hires, coaching, and the development and rollout of a functional training program.

Led the global team to deliver the increased results across all business units and geographies while significantly increasing the capability of the team, successfully rolling out an automated P2P systems in key markets, and company wide institution of Zero Based Budgeting initiative.
