• Extensive navigation and bridge watch-keeping experience included a 2 year exchange with the Royal Netherlands Navy at sea and completing their middle-management staff course, requiring a high level of Dutch language.
• Navigating Instructor delivering classroom theory, and coaching future navigators during simulator and sea training.
• Navigating Officer of a T23 Frigate bringing the ship out of refit for sea trials, operational training and Gulf deployment, including two Suez Canal transits.
• Force Navigator for NATO Mine Countermeasures Task Group in the Baltic; executed planning and coordinating of nine ships.
• Navigating Officer - Falkland Islands Patrol Vessel; gained operating experience in the South Atlantic, including patrols to the South Sandwich Islands, South Georgia and South America.
• Deck Officer of Minehunter included Mine-Countermeasure Operations, Fishery Protection and deployment to the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
