Responsible for National Account Management of large Retail Customers across the United States.

The primary objective of the District Business Manager (DBM) is to manage and evaluate the sales of the organization's products in assigned district and/or geographical area in order to increase prescribing of disposable contact lens products. The District Business Manager will supervise the sales force and sales office activities of assigned staff, ensuring proper levels of service are maintained with related customers and/or organizations. This includes representing the organization by maintaining contact with major accounts within jurisdiction and applying a broad knowledge of the organization's products, services and marketing techniques. Additional responsibilities include: preparing annual sales forecasts and regular sales reports reflecting district activities; participation in the determination of district market potential and in the preparation of district sales expense estimates; and participation in the recruitment, selection and training of sales representatives and sales office personnel.

Responsible for the management and development of 6 District Managers who service the Acute Care, Home Healthcare and Long Term Care/3rd Party Biller Market Channels. I collaborate and partner with National Account Managers, Key Account Managers, Strategic Account Specialists and Medical Device Account Managers within the Enteral Nutrition Market. I have extensive experience with Regional Acute Cares (Hospitals) including IDN’s like Kaiser, CHW and Adventist Health, Home Healthcare Companies and Regional 3rd Party Medicare Part B Billers. I also have a strong understanding of GPO’s and Distributors both at a Regional and National level.

Managed and developed a Team of 8-10 specialty pharmaceutical sales reps in CA and AZ. Division was responsible for selling and promoting Branded Generic Pharmaceuticals to Psychiatrist and Primary Care Physicians.

Account Management for Long Term Care Pharmacy Providers in the areas of Oral and Injectable Atypical Antipsychotics, Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents, Anti-Infective, and Alzheimer’s. Responsibilities included quarterly business reviews of National Contracts with local providers to ensure contract compliance and product growth. Collaboration and Partnership with 4 Johnson and Johnson operating companies – Janssen Pharmacutica, Ortho Biotech, PriCara and Ortho McNeil Neurologics. Note: displaced from position due to company re-organization.
