Groups Pastor
CurrentPastor overseeing at staff of ten and seven different adult discipleship departments including Men’s, Women’s, Life Groups, Sports + Rec, Singles, Sunday School, and Next Steps (new believers)- Brought much-needed organizational management structures, expectations, and streamlined processes to a newly restructured ministry department- Responsible for approximately $250,000 annual department budget- Crafted a clear, consistent, and simple set of mission, vision, and values to bring new department structure into cohesive alignment- Working extensively with other ministry departments to develop engaging and substantive training and support for Groups leaders- Developed and taught custom curriculum for two new classes: Evangelism and Apologetics, offered on Sundays as equipping events for church attenders and members- Lead instructor for new Discovering Jesus curriculum for new believers and those renewing their faith journey- Wrote Advent 2022 Church Devotional- Frequent teacher of original curriculum to Sunday School classes- Frequent and gifted speaker and teacher, including men’s, seniors, first responders, and new believers classes and events- Recognized by both peers and Executive Team as a highly effective, enthusiastic, and decisive leader who makes good decisions quickly and always looks to support his staff and people first and foremost.
