I started my steamfitter/pipe fitter career in 1999 working on various heating/cooling systems then moving into a lead hand, estimator and supervisor role. When I finished my apprenticeship in 2005 I relocated to Fort McMurray where I had the opportunity to work some new construction and later began my career with Syncrude Canada Ltd. in 2006.Throughout my career at Syncrude I have gained experience in an industrial setting working on and managing pipelines, piping systems, vessels,rotating equipment and mobile equipment in various positions such as maintenance lead, coordinator, outage lead, planning leader, MAL and a senior project manager.
