I started as Sales Manager for both Lincs FM and its small sister Station, Compass FM and held these positions for 6 years until the role was made redundant. I left and became Sales Director at Viking FM but re-joined 9 months later as a simple sales person. I have always said that the best part of the job, regardless of your title is being in front of clients so this was great fun.

I was the senior sales person for 3 years and eventually took over as Sales Manager when Paul Chadbourne left. We were a small but good team. Initially the Station was independently owned and great fun to work for, though it became victim to a couple of take-overs during my time which probably made it more 'professional' but also somewhat formulaic!Still I look back on this time with great fondness.
