I have successfully filled many positions within Duke Energy over my career. I started off in Generation Engineering as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer performing capital project improvements. These projects ranged from adding new controls/features to equipment to installing entirely new systems such as flue gas conditioning systems. I designed and installed all of the power system, overhead/underground wiring and control systems for these projects. My next role was with the Major Projects Group, as the Lead Project Engineer for the construction of two windfarms Los Vientos 1A &1B. I worked on contract requisitions, design review, bid specifications, factory acceptance testing and many other aspects on this project.I most recently worked as a Project Manager in the Real Estate Group. These projects ranged in value from a few thousand dollars to a few million dollars. Managing all aspects of the project from inception to close out as well as multiple projects at the same time.

That included controls systems, motors, precipitators, flue gas conditioning systems and flyash systems. The responsibility of an equipment owner included maintenance scheduling, trouble shooting, inspections and managing repairs.
