I started in Naples, FL as a computer technician working part time assembling PC's for a wholesale company with over $200,000.00 monthly sales. Within a year, I left Collier County EMS and went full time and was promoted to Manager and relocated to Jacksonville, FL to open the company's 8th location. After two years and achieving monthly sales over $125,000.00, I was relocated again to Pensacola, FL to open the company's 12th location.In October of 2000, I was brought back to Naples to take over management of the company's number two store until I left in November of 2002 to assume the position of Director of Microsystems, Purchasing Manager with Softrim Corporation.

I started as a part time EMT and was hired full time after receiving my FL Paramedic certification in 1991. Once completing Paramedic training within CCEMS, I worked with Flight Medic partners for a couple of years. My partners would be flying for the first 12 hours of each shift as I worked with part time EMT's before being promoted to Lieutenant and Field Training Officer. Besides my daily role as a Paramedic, I also partnered and preparing newly hired and state certified Paramedics for final training with a Senior Medic before county certification by our medical director.I was also a Preceptor for Edison Community College's (now Florida SouthWestern State College) EMT and Paramedic certification programs for field training and preparation for the Florida state certification exams.Being a Paramedic was my dream as a teenager and I'm proud to say that I am and always will be a Medic.
