Based in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture at UNSW, the City Futures Research Centre has developed into a national leader in scholarly applied public interest research on our cities since 2005. In undertaking this research, we collaborate with a range of academic researchers, both within UNSW and at universities across Australia and overseas.

The Northern Rivers Community Gateway is a Not for Profit Public Benevolent Institution delivering welfare and community capacity building programs, across NSW, Mid North Coast, New England and the Far North Coast.

Eastern Area Tenants Service (EATS) offers free advice, information and help to tenants who are having problems with their landlords or real estate agents.

The Centre for Social Impact is a collaboration of three universities: UNSW Australia, Swinburne University of Technology, The University of Western Australia.CSI works to catalyse positive social change, to help enable others to achieve social impact.I take a lead role in managing and undertaking applied research and social impact projects in areas of housing and homelessness, including Outcomes Measurement, evaluations, systems change, and cross-sector collaborations. I’m also responsible for building and maintaining industry relationships and attracting research funding and contracted industry projects.

Homelessness NSW is a peak not for profit organisation that works with its members to prevent and reduce homelessness across NSW. Our members include small, locally based community organisations, multiservice agencies with a regional reach and large State-wide service providers.Key services include policy development and advocacy in working to end homelessness, public education about the changing faces of homeless people and those at risk, information about the diverse mix of initiatives operating in NSW and elsewhere and advice and support for member organisations and others about organisational change and improvement.

The Fair Trade Association is the peak body in Australia and New Zealand promoting the growth of the Fair Trade Movement.

Designing and implementing campaign strategies to achieve identified PIAC objectives and providing advice and mentoring to PIAC staff in relation to the development of policy projects.

Identifying and running advocacy campaigns on systemic issues affecting homeless people including on issues such as on-the-spot fines, post release and homelessness, discrimination and welfare reform.
