In recognition of my broad product knowledge, contribution to the business, experience and increasing responsibilities in my Senior Engineering role, I was promoted to Principal Engineer.Main Responsibilities/Duties --------------------------------• Management of Staff• Delivering complete test systems of various complexity, through requirements gathering, design, manufacture, commissioning, verification against original requirements and ongoing support(Test systems typically incorporate inhouse designed electronic assemblies, "off the shelf" instruments, embedded SW, MS Visual Studio based test executive, Instrument drivers and inhouse designed mechanical parts.)• Leading the Test Engineering team to deliver objectives and commitments• MS Project Planning and status reporting• Configuration control• Defining and controlling expenditure within the team against agreed budgets.• Providing technical support to production, field support engineers and product Validation teams• Ensuring that test systems comply with IEC 61010(Electrical Safety for Lab Equipment)
