About Chris Ham
I'm a financial industry veteran, with 25 years experience supporting a Fortune 100 company developing business and technical requirements for financial, inventory, and analysis applications while complying with risk management policies & procedures and corporate governance requirements. Over the last five years I've also rebooted and updated my abilities by diving into and taking extreme ownership of Scrum/Agile methodology. During that time I've obtained multiple certifications from Scrum.org: Professional Scrum Master I, Professional Scrum Master II, Professional Scrum Product Owner I, and Scaled Professional Scrum I've mentored under multiple scrum masters, Scrum ambassadors, and other Scrum adherents, and have taken full advantage of any opportunity to perform as Scrum Master for my team's ceremonies. Daily stand up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Planning - I've filled the role of Scrum Master for all, and I'm ready to step out on my own. I have a deep well of experience to help coach a team switching from Waterfall to Scrum/Agile as I've lived it firsthand.I'm also able to take on the world from anywhere in the world. Long before our world became virtual by near necessity I was already building the skillset to function as a productive and thriving fully remote employee. I have almost 20 years experience working as a fully distributed and dispersed team member, a record that includes a history of quality performance as a team member and as an individual. To survive this long, in this industry in the way I have, requires me to eagerly adapt to organizational change, to learn new systems, new methodologies, new processes and procedures, and to pivot as needed. I'm always interested to hear from organizations that embrace the same flexibility and desire to perform.
Listed skills include Software Documentation, Databases, Security, Strategic Planning, and 21 others.

Senior Business Execution Consultant, Financial Transformation Office
I was a member of a mature, cross-functional Scrum team, one whose members were fully distributed across the United States, building a workflow & data management application to support legal entity information. I have mentored under multiple Scrum Masters in order to support them as needed, including frequently acting as the Scrum Master for all defined Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives) and additional events such as Backlog Refinements. I seek out coaching opportunities for development teams & individual members to increase knowledge and adherence to Scrum practices in order to further grow the team’s maturity. While I regularly facilitate our daily stand ups, I also encourage my fellow team members to take ownership of stand-ups in accordance with Scrum principles. I meet regularly with our Product Owner and business partner stakeholders to review product status, requirements, and priorities. I support the Product Owner with communicating product impacts to the stakeholder as the project evolves. I also assist the development team to resolve impediments that block product developmentI hold multiple certifications from Scrum.org: Professional Scrum Master I, Professional Scrum Master II, Professional Scrum Product Owner I, and Scaled Professional Scrum. As a Senior Business Execution Consultant on our team, I develop testing strategy, build test plans, and write test cases for System Integration Testing. I coach and train my fellow team members who are less experienced with Quality Assurance on developing successful strategies and test plan creation. Through this process my team identifies bugs for remediation prior to release for User Acceptance Testing. I prepare our Quality Assurance documentation to support production deployment following the completion of each Sprint and participate in the production deployment of each Sprint’s releasable code. I validate the deployment, and provide signoff for the release.
Business Systems Consultant, Legal Entity Office (Data & Mis)
I served as the business-side systems administrator for a third party tool used as the system of record for non-financial entity information. Also served as the business-side administrator for a workflow application that fed entity data into that system of record. I analyzed application change requests and requirements submitted from customers while utilizing multiple application environments to design, test and implement interface solutions to serve customer needs. I ensured Legal Entity Office systems and procedures were in compliance with corporate governance policies and regulatory guidelines. I provided support to peers, partners, and customers for both applications, answered system & process questions, and diagnosed/solved business-side technical issues. I also helped design, document, and implement change management processes and user access management processes for the newly established team that adhered to corporate policy and satisfied regulatory requirements. I regularly participated in exercises that provided evidence of compliance with requested and required process improvements. I facilitated regular transparency and collaboration sessions between multiple teams, stakeholders, and various levels of leadership, as well as partnered with multiple development teams, both on-and offshore, and vendors to support technical aspects of the systems.
Systems Consultant, Office Of Lifecycle Management
I was responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a front end application and multiple databases (Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server) that tracked the lifecycle milestones of almost 350,000 devices. I developed, executed, and maintained various data imports from source systems to feed lifecycle analysis engine. I was also responsible for business continuity planning and disaster recovery exercises. During this time I partnered with an offshore development team that supports the technical aspects of the system. As a senior team member, I trained new team members, managers, and partners on all aspects of lifecycle management. I collaborated with platform teams across Network (including engineers, analysts, and managers) to identify lifecycle risks, perform situational analysis and ad-hoc reporting, develop, train, and implement lifecycle management and inventory validation procedures, and assist with other issues as needed to minimize risk within the network infrastructure. I provided regular reporting to technology risk managers, Network management teams, and Wells Fargo corporate partners. As an additional part of our outreach I oversaw all aspects of a monthly forum for partner teams (including engineers, architects, vendors, and management) to discuss various topics on individual Network platforms, including current state, deployment statistics, lifecycle status, future development plans, and vendor relations. I organized presenters and vendors for each meeting, prepared presentation materials, and facilitated the actual forum to keep discussions focused and active.I was awarded a Technology Operations Group (TOG) Gold Coin in 2016. This program recognizes exemplary performance and focus on the importance and success of TOG's shared goals. It is an award of distinction and is one of the highest honors on TOG. The program provides a limited number of Gold Coins to be awarded by Senior Leaders and only the top levels of leadership can award a Gold Coin.
Systems Consultant, Inventory Management
I was responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of an inventory configuration application that tracked almost 120,000 network inventory components and the relationships between them, along with the partnership with an offshore development team that supported the technical aspects of the system. I was also responsible for maintaining a bulk import system that allowed for large-scale imports into the application database. As part of this I developed an internal desktop application that significantly reduced the amount of time necessary to generate a bulk import file. I developed business processes and gathered technical design requirements for systems upgrades and enhancement sets, both for the front end web application and back end database design, as well as writing the requirements documentation. I performed user acceptance testing on developed enhancements. I was a regular participant in business continuity planning and disaster recovery exercises for the application and associated processes.
Systems Consultant, Telecom Expense Management
I was part of a business systems administrator group that oversaw a telecom expense management system that managed over 45,000,000 chargeback records monthly representing $15,000,000 in telecom allocations. I gathered and documented business requirements as well as developed and executed test plans for enhancements. I participated regularly in business continuity & disaster recovery exercises, and developed the business-side recovery test plans. I partnered with internal finance groups to maintain internal chargeback policies and our telecom field partners to maintain the currency of the system & resolve any issues. I functioned within Sarbanes-Oxley compliance regulations and participated in Capability Maturity Model integration rating exercises.
Analyst, Cmg Incentives
I was an analyst who gathered and processed inventive payments for sales personnel and associates within the Capital Management Group and across other referring lines of business within the bank. I was directly responsible for monthly reporting and incentive processing for corporate trusts, advanced fee sales, and smaller personal trust sales. Our team tracked annual sales & revenue in excess of $100,000,000.
