At Edinburgh, I teach a range of undergraduate courses including modern Japanese and Indian history, global and imperial history, the history of modern cultural interactions between Asia and the West, and core skills like writing and researching. I also work with graduate students at the Masters and PhD level. I also have a role in helping colleagues to widen the reach of their research, working with museums, galleries, governments, the media and more.
