In my role at DFS, I was responsible for the administration and maintenance of the authorisation concept throughout our entire SAP landscape. My main goal was to ensure the SAP system was kept secure and protected from potential access related risks including Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sensitive Access & Critical Access.My main duties included;- Create and maintain PFCG roles (Single, Composite, Derived, CUA)- Perform periodic pre-audit risk assessments- Liaise with Internal/External Auditors and quantify issues raised.- Assist in the implementation of SAP GRC Access Control 10.1 - ARA, EAM & BRM - Utilise GRC simulation functionality to proactively prevent risk introduction into Production- Administer the GRC Access Control 10.1 system- Provide SME advice to Senior Management on Best Practices for addressing access risk- Troubleshoot user access problems - perform authorisation traces

The main responsibility of this role was to provide assistance to the wider ERP team in the following areas of SAP support; HR, Workflow, Purchasing, Security & Access Control (GRC). In this role I worked closely with Auditors to analyse and remediate authorisation related access risks and to implement strategies to prevent the re-occurence of such risk exposure. I successfully implemented Firefighter (SPM) v5.3 and was highly involved in the GRC AC 10.0 implementation.
