I am currently a student at the University of Guelph pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting. Previously obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences that included a minor in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences. Currently my goal is to pursue a career as a CPA.For the past two years I have been a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph in the 1-1 school-based mentoring program. I have significant amounts of volunteer experience within a school environment, in which duties have included: tutoring in the Reading Rocks program, running/pioneering clubs, and assisting in various events. Was previously a Customer Service Representative at the LCBO. My Bachelor of Science degree gave me significant experience working on research projects/papers both cooperatively and independently. Some of my skills include:Interpersonal skills which I have strengthened through my experience as a mentor and tutor, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, and strong collaboration skills developed through numerous group research projects and presentations.
