Managing a team of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers & designers for delivery of detailed LV & HV work packages according to cost requirements. Responsible for the preparation of cost and man-hour estimates for all installations. Responsible for ensuring the quality of all Electrical Engineering issues in accordance with the current regulations (BS7671) & the NICEIC. Responsible for maintaining & improving the Electrical Engineering standards within the company, highlighting many key areas for improvement such as skill sets and training. Responsible to ensure Safety, Health and Environment protection within all our Electrical Engineering designs and installations. Provide expert technical support, liaising directly with clients.I have knowledge of British/European Standards and codes of practice including BS 7671 and BS 60079 hazardous area installations. Carrying out design of power distribution (Maximum Demand and Power Factor Correction), earth arrangements and protection systems.
