I also maintain my titles of Snowflake Data Superhero and Snowflake SnowPro Subject Matter Expert.My day to day responsibilites included:• Scoping requirements for data challenges from key client stakeholders and transforming these into innovative and actionable solutions• Architecting data warehouses in Snowflake with bespoke elements to fit customer requirements• Building ELT processes to ingest, transform and cleanse data from multiple sources in various formats using SQL, Snowflake, Matillion, Python, JavaScript, Fivetran and dbt; producing performant processes which yield reliable and repeatable results• Assisting customers with migrations into new Snowflake environments from legacy systems, often as part of our Snowflake Rapid Start offering• Developing User Defined Functions and Stored Procedures for Snowflake, in both JavaScript and Python, to automate complex processes• Learning how to leverage new tools to align with each client’s unique technology stack, continuously embracing new technologies• Engaging with Snowflake directly as a SnowPro Subject Matter Expert, assisting with the development of the SnowPro Advanced Admin, Engineer and Analyst exams, along with the rewrite of the SnowPro Core exam

I have thrived as one of our original Data Engineers in EMEA and provided many clients with services including cloud data warehousing with Snowflake and automated ELT with Matillion.A key benefit to this role has been the opportunity to engage directly with both the Snowflake and Tableau communities. I happily picked up the mantle of Snowflake Data Superhero in 2019 and still maintain this title for my engagement and contribution to the Snowflake community, whilst being one of the first globally to achieve the SnowPro Advanced Architect certification. We continue to work with all size and shape of customer, from small businesses to global corporations and across many industries.I flourished as an InterWorks Analytics Consultant and leveraged Tableau daily to bring analytics and insights to our customers. Supporting this was my strong knowledge of Alteryx, another InterWorks partner, with which I developed data exploration and last-mile transformation workflows to unlock customer data.My day to day responsibilites included:• Scoping requirements for data analytics challenges from key client stakeholders and transforming these into innovative and actionable solutions• Analysing data to build dynamic, interactive and robust dashboards in Tableau which visualise key results in a clear and concise manner• Applying agile methodologies to ensure daily alignment with stakeholders and facilitate the evolution of requirements• Assisting clients with understanding, interpreting, and drawing accurate conclusions from their data• Developing exploration and last-mile transformation workflows cleanse and prepare data from multiple sources in various formats using Alteryx and Tableau Prep; producing performant processes which yield reliable and repeatable results• Assisting with the administration of Tableau servers• Taking any opportunity I can to dive into SQL-focused development and continue chasing my passion for learning new ways to both construct dashboards with accessible supporting processes and to clean up unnecessarily lengthy or convoluted processes behind existing systems

My primary responsibilities were to manage the on-boarding of multiple new clients simultaneously for the BravoAdvantage for Healthcare programme; taking clients from initial data templates through into a data warehouse and onward into BravoSolution’s in-house reporting software. This involved:• Client-facing and sometimes on-site project management and support• Automation of data manipulation and presentation through various platforms including Tableau, SQL, SSIS, Excel and VBA• Designing and building advanced reports using Tableau• Delegation, guidance and training for more junior members of staff• On-site client facing training sessions• Regular communication with senior members of staff
