Chris is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Grifols Shared Services North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Grifols SA, a global producer of plasma therapies that treat rare, life threatening illnesses and a world leader in transfusion medicine diagnostics. Chris’ corporate affairs responsibilities include policy and advocacy, patient engagement, other non-commercial stakeholder relations, global community engagement and corporate philanthropy. Chris is a member of Grifols' Operations Leadership Team. Chris joined Grifols in 2005 after serving as the Executive Director for PPTA, the plasma therapeutics industry trade association. He began working in the plasma therapeutics industry in 1997 and since that time has been helped shape global policy outcomes that impact the industry and patients. Chris started his career as an attorney at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Hogan & Hartson where he counseled clients on various aspects of U.S. pharmaceutical and medical device law. Chris is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar.Outside of work, Chris has served on various not-for-profit boards and is active in his community having provided pro bono legal services to homeless neighbors, held elected positions in his local civic association, and worked to bring about safer streets for all users including cyclists and pedestrians.
