Senior HR Specialist responsible for providing staffing services to PHNSY&IMF, and classfication services to COMPACFLT and subordinate commands.

I am the HR guy on the ground at the Garrison on Kwaj.

Responsible for staffing and classification for the US Army Health Center - Vicenza.

I work in the Career Program 53 Proponent office which strategically addresses the training and career development needs of all the civilian medical occupations throughout Army. Identify competencies, analyze competency gaps of the workforce, implement gap closure strategies. Draft career maps, advise employees, approve training applications, coordinate with training vendors.

I work on the team that is responsible for the classification and staffing functions of HR at Womack Army Medical Center. I am personnaly responsible for five departments with approximately 250 civilian employees. I work with management to identify needs and find ways to meet those needs. I explain policy, procedures, regulations etc. to management as well as employees seeking information. I write position descriptions, conduct job analyses, draft vacancy announcements, rate referral lists, set pay, extend job offers, and coordinate completion of conditions of employment.
