I have been in the renewable energy industry since 2002 working in several leadership positions over that span. My work experience coupled with a degree in Energy Management and Design offer a unique perspective as I have been involved heavily in both operations and sales over the years. After leaving the field as a journeyman electrician I became a sales engineer, analyst, director of technical solutions where my main responsibilities grew to merge utility rate tariff modeling, interconnection assessments, renewable energy production with construction costs and scope to provide proper project evaluations. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of almost every utility in the US as far as interconnection requirements and avoided costs. Couple this knowledge with a strong construction background on a variety of renewable technologies and you can see how I help provide best in class solutions. These solutions include, but not limited to;PV, Storage, Microgrids, Fuel Cells, Linear Generators, CHP, Biogas, EV infrastructure, Wind, Hydrogen all packaged up into a variety of financing methods which include cash, PPA's, VPPA's, Operating Leases. I view my role as one where I help paint a clear picture of how to achieve ESG goals to any organization or institution by listening to customer needs and then presenting solutions that will fit/work within any given framework based on use case and site constraints. I have always been viewed as a leader from high school football team captain, cross country camping tour guide to my professional career in sustainability. I treat all people with the same amount of respect I expect to be treated with.
