About Chris Hixson

Experienced Professional in the Health & Fitness Industry, serving in my current role as Senior Manager of Membership at IHRSA, the Global Health & Fitness Trade Association. Responsibilities include Customer Service, Account Management, Retention, Sales & Marketing, IT Management, Database / Salesforce Administration and Management, Registration Sales and Service, Event Management / Registration / Logistics.Previous experience within the Health & Fitness Industry at a small tennis club outside of Boston prior to joining IHRSA from 2011-2013. Other work experiences include Tourism and Service Industry roles at places like Whiteface Mountain, The Whiteface Lodge, and several upscale restaurants in the heart of the Adirondacks.Longtime Part-Time Lacrosse Coach outside of work for over a decade. From 2012 until 2021, served as the Assistant Coach for Regis College Women's Lacrosse, and helped the team achieve over 100 wins during that period. Now serving as the Assistant Coach for the Flower Mound Boys Varsity program in Flower Mound, TX at the High School level.In my spare time I enjoy sports of all types, both watching and participating in. My favorites are Lacrosse, Hockey, Soccer, Snowboarding, Baseball, Football, Golf, Tennis and several others.
