I am retired and currently volunteering my time and experience with various organizations. I am a leader with extensive operations management and customer service experience. My strengths are developing strategy, implementing a plan and then executing it to exceed measurable outcomes. I also have extensive background in optimizing organizations through a combination of process redesign, reducing redundancy and implementing new technology. I enjoy mentoring, consulting and teaching in a manner that builds capability and ensures longevity of solutions.Following a 27-year career with Fidelity Investments, I am now involved in projects and/or organizations tied to the development of young adults, animal welfare and environmental concerns. I continue to explore volunteer and board opportunities that can leverage the skills I developed through my past workplace experiences.In every role I held at Fidelity, I took the customer’s view on solving problems. I built a legacy of taking on the largest challenges Fidelity faced in its HR benefits outsourcing businesses and was successful bringing those challenges to a positive outcome. Known for being a calming influence during times of turmoil, I was frequently put into high-profile situations within a complex, multidimensional organization to drive self-directed large-scale organizational change. As COO, I developed a reputation for quickly identifying core issues and driving tough decisions to closure. Currently I am a Board Director of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Foundation. While at the Zoo I have served as Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee acting as a key advisor on zoo strategy. I am also currently a Board Director, Vice President for the Lake Oconee Humane Society, an animal shelter in Georgia where I play numerous roles developing and executing strategic initiatives.
