Creator and founder of Skill Set Passport. I have been in the Construction Industry for around 15 years or so, having a variety of roles which include, plant operation to a Surveillance officer, to a Managerial role for a Company which I started from the ground up. In early 2014, I finally achieved my Certificate IV TAE 40110 which was a goal of mine as I like to help and support others in my industry. One problem that I found from training and assessing is the un organisation of employees and employers with proving their qualifications/skills onsite when asked to do so for retraining, auditing or induction purposes. Some of the excuses given were, I lost my ticket, I have left them at home or in my car which is at the yard, or my wallet has been stolen. So after extensive research and development, we have created a web based app to eliminate these issues by uploading them onto the Skill Set Passport app which they are kept safe and secure at all times and all in one place for easy access. You can also send your passport to whoever you want by email or SMS!!
