My proudest achievement is my decade of service in the United States Marine Corps, where I gained invaluable experience as an Aviation Ordnance Systems Technician, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, and South Korea. This experience broadened my understanding of global issues and inspired me to pursue a career in chemistry.I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from Lewis University, where I focused on innovative research such as developing a novel sterilization technique for aircraft cabins. Currently, I am seeking opportunities in the chemical industry where I can apply my technical skills and research experience to drive advancements and solve real-world problems. My goal is to contribute to cutting-edge projects and innovations that address pressing global challenges, leveraging my background in both practical and theoretical aspects of chemistry.I am particularly interested in roles related to research and development, process optimization, or chemical safety, where I can utilize my experience to make a meaningful impact.
