Fronting Woolpert APAC's (formerly AAM) High Definition Survey (HDS) Modelling team, I am responsible for the management of said team, with project oversights from procurement, through to modelling, quality assurance and delivery.Coming into the company, I have sought to establish clearer standards and protocols, aligning ourselves to more defined methodologies in respect of international BIM convention (ISO 19650 series) and domestic Australian practices.Development has been focussed on upgrading our modelling capabilities, deliverables and marketing portfolio, with a focus on Quality Assurance, consistency and pride in what we do. It is my aim and ambition put Woolpert at the front of Scan-to-BIM services within Australia and be as much recognised for our High-def survey models as we are for our Mapping and GIS.

- Coordination of numerous large-scale projects to meet and exceed client expectations.- Management and liaising between in-house and sub-contracted modelling teams, as well as Resource Logistics, support and training.- Producing and delivering high-quality 3D building models from point cloud/scan data.- Production of organised and annotated 2D model extracts.- Development of Revit production practices, as well as Quality Assurance techniques.- Development of product standards and specifications; authoring of new modelling definitions, modelling checklist and BIM Survey Specification.- Quotes and Estimations.- Client Liason and support, face-to-face, phone and email.- Training and knowledge-sharing of surveying, AutoCAD, Revit and similar softwares.- Recruitment and out-sourcing procurement and development.- BIM Consultancy and collaborative authoring of associated documents (EIRs, BEPs, etc).

I started my career as a Land & Measured Building Surveyor here with NGM Surveys, doing the full scope of the job through both site and office work.I can use and process data from total stations and scanners alike, as well as the fundamental techniques of levelling and measurement through the use of rod & distos.In office, I was able to interpret and produce drawings from collected data within AutoCAD, also using Cloudworx for scan information.I also familiarised myself with the production of Area Reports and the RICS Code of Measuring Practice.
