Responsible for the oversight and direction to 50+ member team performing transactional activity for all accounts including AP, AR and Billing. • Direct transactional groups including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and related items.• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.• Maintain working knowledge of industry and economic events having an impact on operations.• Review escalated issues and determines need for resolution.• Review and generate reporting for management to monitor KPIs.• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Develop, write and implement policies and procedures and incorporate automation to improve efficiency for the department.• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to internal and external auditors.• Assists in annual and semi-annual accounting audit activities and JSOX testing and reviews as it relates to the department.• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.• Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.• Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.• Provide assistance to the SVP, GM Acctg & Finance and other Management personnel and perform special projects as assigned.
