Currently supporting the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation on all HR related topics for ca. 150 employees based in Vietnam. The work varies from the here-and-now hands-on HR to planning for the mid to long term. Currently my focus is on foundational HR efforts to build on the strong existing practices and take them to the next level. This includes a ground up review of the HR practices and policies across the entire HR lifecycle and establishing a clear tactical and action oriented roadmap for success across organisational design, talent acquisition and management, leadership development and culture, systems and processes. Blue Dragon is a grassroots charity with a big vision. For over 20 years, Blue Dragon has been a leading agency in Vietnam’s fight against human trafficking.Blue Dragon finds children and young people in crisis situations: slavery, homelessness, and extreme poverty. They rescue people from danger, then work with them for the long-term so they can heal from trauma, injustice and disadvantage. All that is learned on the frontline is used in their advocacy to improve laws and policies protecting the vulnerable.To date the following milestones have been achieved:FREEDOM: 1500+ people rescued from slaveryEDUCATION: 6300+ children and teens in school, training and universityJUSTICE: 200+ survivors of abuse and trafficking represented in courtSAFETY: 1800+ children given shelter and 250+ homes builtFAMILY: 2400+ children and young adults reunited with family after trafficking or homelessness
