The real estate industry is constantly changing and no two transactions are ever the same. At times it can be a daunting process to close a real estate transaction. With more than 30 years’ experience, I work carefully and collaboratively with my clients to help them find solutions to complex transactions. I focus on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, real estate financing and developments, working closely with all real estate stakeholders including institutional investors, advisers, lenders and developers. I often advise pension funds and their advisers on the complex rules relating to the investment by pension funds in real estate. And when I’m not working on a real estate deal, you’re likely to find me exploring the great outdoors. As an avid canoeist, I spend a lot of time paddling wilderness canoe routes in Ontario and writing about my adventures.
