About Chris Hudson

Retired in 2013 due to serious health issues after many years working as an IT Business Analyst for various Government and non-Government organizations. I recently started a PhD course at UTS. My research interest is the meta modelling of natural disasters, in particular tropical cyclones. This is to help mitigate the effects of Tropical Cyclones and their devastating effects on communities and financial losses within those communities. The aim of this research is to better track the possible landfall of the cyclone and give communities more time to prepare for the violent winds and flooding rains.
