About Chris Hunter
I am currently an Investment Officer at CalSTRS. Previously I was the manager of the Investment Accounting team. Prior to CalSTRS, I worked at State Street as a Relationship Manager. Prior to Relationship Management, I oversaw the Client Service team servicing our West Coast Asset Owner business. I led a team of experienced investment professionals to deliver high quality customer service. I joined State Street Corporation in 2007 when Investors Bank and Trust was acquired, and previously joined Investors in 2003. I have a strong operational history, having served in a management position in several fund accounting and custody teams providing service to asset managers and asset owners, spanning a wide variety of investment products and structures. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
