Conducting research on various topics for Professor Peer Zumbansen. Research areas include sustainable finance, transnational corporate law, transnational litigation, corporate governance, and supply chain governance. Further, helping to coordinate the Transformative Business Law Summer Academy, taking place for the first time at the end of May 2023.

Worked in these roles as an undergraduate summer student, for over a year after undergrad graduation, and then as a full-time casual employee for the summer after my 1st year of law school.As a Greenhouse Gas analyst (Summer 2022):o Helped coordinate an interdepartmental working group on Greenhouse Gases by presenting projects, summarizing discussions of projects and GHG policy, and producing assessments for review by expertso Prepared assessment documents for a Call to Action launched by the Net Zero Accelerator to secure large, short-term emissions reductions. Completed the initial GHG assessment and triaging process for 8 proposalso Wrote a plan to integrate GHG expertise into negotiations to ensure agreements create the right incentives and requirements to maximize environmental benefits. Proposal circulated to Director General after my departureAs an investment analyst (Summer 2019, June 2020-August 2021):o Lead project analyst on a $200M contribution agreement announced in July 2021. Conducted the initial assessment of the project, in-depth due diligence, and then led term sheet negotiations and contribution agreement negotiations. Project was the first contribution agreement under Canada's new $8 billion Net Zero Accelerator initiative. o Acted as lead officer on 7 project contribution agreements that are being amended due to project changes and that require monitoring of the project progress as well as approval of payments for each project claim periodo Analyse prospective projects based on application documents and contact with companies, and assess project benefits to Canada based on economic, innovation, and public good factors o Present application documents to a decision committee with a recommendation to fund, reject, or hold for further consideration. To date, analysed, assessed, and presented 9 separate applications

• Marked 40 term papers and 40 assignments and provided feedback• Coordinated with the professor and worked with other TAs to help facilitate the course and be a resource for the students • Developed critical reading and editing skills as well as ability to objectively evaluate written passages and provide quality feedback

• Planted from 1400 to 2200 trees per day in all weather conditions and lived in a tent for the duration of the summer• Was one of 6 first-year planters, from an initial 36, that did not quit or get fired • Worked independently, without supervision or external motivation, for 8 to 9 hours each day through adverse weather, challenging terrain and various distractions

o Worked as a counsellor at a camp for children aged 8 to 12 for two summers. This camp involved teaching the kids a wide variety of canoeing and kayaking related skills as well as ensuring that they all enjoyed themselves. This involved resolving conflicts between children, helping kids overcome personal difficulties and dealing with distressed parents.
