Primary responsibilities include the management of the accounting group, representing all functions of the accounting and finance department. Currently performing as the sole General Ledger Accountant (performing the month, quarter, and year-end close process). Monitoring project performance to ensure accurate financial reporting. Monthly financial and budget reporting to owners, banks, and other financial interests. Design and track forward corporate level financial estimates. Additional responsibilities include: corporate cash management, process improvement, system implementation, corporate licensing, policy creation, and training initiatives.

Primary responsibilities include the management of the Site Administration group, 14 direct reports, who perform timekeeping, project financial reporting, field procurement, and field Human Resources functions. Planned and implemented a computer based project cost system that allowed for daily tracking of project performance, to replace manual spreadsheet based costing and reporting system. The role is responsible for project analysis, reporting financial performance, and budgeted forecasts for the Regional Managers, Vice President of Operations, and the President. Additional responsibilities included: prime contract management, sub-contract management, corporate licensing, policy creation, and training initiatives.

Responsible for the accounting management of an overseas U.S. government construction program valued over 30 million dollars per year. Responsible for oversight of financial metrics for large construction programs (ranging in size from 1MM to approx. 600MM) including: risk reviews on programs, gross margin review, project investment review, billing review, journal entry review, calculation of liquidated damages, and construction metrics.

Responsible for internal audit reviews of construction projects including the review of: revenue recognition, work breakdown structures, project investment, prime contract compliance, subcontract compliance, schedule compliance, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Responsible for creation and review of corporate-wide accounting control initiatives.
